What is DCA?

DCA (dollar-cost averaging) means investing the same amount at fixed intervals, regardless of price. When the price is low you buy more units; when it is high you buy fewer. The result is an average cost that smooths out the swings and avoids trying to guess the "best moment".

The calculator takes the coin's daily closing price, simulates a purchase on each date according to the chosen frequency, and values the total at today's price. It does not include exchange fees.

Because it uses the free data tier, history goes back up to 12 months.
